In the mid to late 1800's, southern Ontario was a bustling agricultural community. Pine and hemlock barns were abundant. Today, these barns no longer meet the modern methods of farming and are sadly becoming part of the past.

 

At Old Vintage Floors, we bring the past to life by preserving history in the form of antique flooring. Using the natural patina, we create a floor that brings history and warmth into your home.

 

The frames of these barns were made of beautiful hardwoods, such as Elm or Beech. These can also be milled into flooring or used as a mantle for your fireplace.
